Apartment
description :
Conveniently located in Paris' 3rd District, this
apartment offers a place full of comfort and a colorful
modular style placed in the midst of a Marais' 18th
century apartment building.
The main entrance prompts you to a spacious room
with an American kitchen next to a living room full
of color and custom design furniture. The pleasant
and cheerful ambience revealed by the orange colored
leather upholstery makes a contrast with the linear
systematic and well organized modular kitchen. This
is an excellent place to enjoy your vacation time
in Paris without having to miss on American comfort.
It's equipped with a Flat Color TV, a desktop computer,
and many more commodities at hand.
This famous and charming old district of Paris,
offers many commodities such as food market, fine
groceries, restaurants, theatres, art galleries,
and cultural centers. It is close to at least 5
metro stations and many bus lines that would take
you anywhere you want to go in Paris.
While walking towards Beaubourg would take 2 minutes,
walking clockwise and north along the Rue de Saint
Martin, which later becomes Rue de Faubourg there
will be a paradise for cinema, theatre, art and
culture lovers. It's the The Musée des Arts
et Metiers, and east of it the Theatre du Marais.
Further north on the same street or near it, there
will be Paris Cine, Le Theatre Antoine, Theatre
La Comedia, Musée de l'Eventail, all right
off the Strasbough St. Denis Metro Station.
At Boulevard Saint Martin and east of this same
metro station, Le Theatre de la Porte de Saint Martin
offers a variety of plays ranging form comedy to
classical masterpieces.
The area is also filled with places to go dancing
such as Caveau de la République and Bain
Douche, located southeast of Place de la République
and east on Boulevard Sebastopol. When walking southeast,
the options may change a little bit, while being
able to encounter more museums and cultural centers
such as the Musée de La Chasse et la Nature,
The Musée d'Histoire de France, Les Archives
Nationales, Le Musée National Picasso, et
le Centre Cultural Suedois.
La Rue de Beaubourg and the whole area west from
it is packed with small local restaurants, asian
food restaurants, cafeteria style and fast food
places, cafés, as well as very chic places
to eat. Do not hesitate to go in that direction.
South on Rue Beaubourg Saint Jacques Tower is being
repaired. L'Ille de la Cité comes next, with
the grandiosity and charm of the Cathedral Notre
Dame de Paris.
